White Blend Wine from 5 Grape Varieties, in Memory of Segev Schwartz
Grape Composition: 33% Chardonnay, 25% Roussanne, 15% Viognier, 15% Gewürztraminer, 12% Sauvignon Blanc
Production Process:
The different grape varieties started fermentation separately. Towards the end of fermentation, the final blend was made, and the fermentation was halted before the wine became dry by lowering the temperature to zero degrees and separating the wine from the yeast. The wine retains about 7 grams of sugar per liter, so despite being classified as semi-dry, it is not heavy and can accompany any meal like any other dry wine.
Vineyard Locations: Revadim, Abu Nofal
Yields: 800-1000 kilograms per dunam
Wine Characteristics:
The wine has a straw-green color, strong aromas of blossoms and tropical fruits, a rich and complex taste with pleasant sweetness, and crisp, balanced acidity. It contains 13% alcohol.
This wine was made by Gush Etzion Winery and Wine&Friends.
