Late Harvest Gewürztraminer 2023 – In Memory of Yakir Tatelbaum| Kosher

A special and exciting white wine, crafted from carefully selected Gewürztraminer grapes that underwent an extended ripening process on the vine.

✨ Growing & Winemaking Process:
Selected rows of Gewürztraminer vineyards were left unharvested along with the rest of the vineyard, allowing the grapes to continue ripening for an additional two and a half weeks, partially shriveling on the vine. Only when the grapes reached a 28 Brix ripeness level were they harvested and fermented under controlled conditions. Toward the end of fermentation, the process was halted using cold shock and sulfur addition, creating a unique balance between relatively high alcohol content and natural sweetness.

• Rich aromas of lychee, roses, honey, and dried apricot
• Full and rounded texture with pleasant sweetness and refreshing balance

In Memory of Staff Sergeant Yakir Tatelbaum, of Blessed Memory

Yakir was a hero of Israel, a warrior and tank commander in the Armored Corps’ MALAR unit. He fell in Gaza defending our holy land on June 28, 2024.

Yakir had a vibrant soul, overflowing with joy, warmth, and love for his family, friends, the Land of Israel, and all its people. He cherished and enjoyed meaningful moments, deep conversations, and, of course, a fine glass of wine.

But above all, Yakir was a seeker of truth—steadfast in his beliefs, driven by a wide and open heart, as vast as the land he loved to explore.
