Red wine to honor Roy Weiser.
The blend consists of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, 20% Merlot, and 5% Cabernet Franc. All from the 2022 vintage (אוצר בית דין), which were selected from specially selected areas for the blend. Before bottling, the blend was aged in French and American oak barrels for about 16 months, first in separate barrels for eight months and then in the same barrels for another eight months.
An exciting and deep blend. With aromas of berries, raspberries, and cassis spiced with dark chocolate, tobacco, and green pepper, this wine is full-bodied and complex. Tasting notes of orange, vanilla, and berries fill the mouth with tanines. It is a great wine to pair with grilled meats and complex dishes
Over time, the blend will continue to improve under proper conditions.
This wine is in memory of Roy Weiser.
He served as a platoon sergeant in the 13th battalion in Golani, and was killed at the age of 21.
He sacrificed his life on October 7, 2023, while fighting terrorists who entered Israel at the Erez crossing to save his fellow soldiers.
We will never forget his smile, personality, and leadership.
