In Memory of Staff Sergeant Yakir Tatelbaum, of Blessed Memory

Yakir was a hero of Israel, a tank commander and warrior in the Armored Corps’ MALAR unit. He fell in Gaza defending our holy land on June 28, 2024.

Yakir was a man with a vibrant soul, overflowing with joy, warmth, and love for his family, friends, the Land of Israel, and all its people. He cherished and enjoyed the good moments in life, deep conversations, and, of course, a fine glass of wine.

But above all, Yakir was a seeker of truth—steadfast in his beliefs, driven by a wide and open heart, as vast as the land he loved to explore.
